Welcome from the Director of Coaching, Maddy Buss

"I was given my first hand-me-down stick in 4th grade. My Uncle Jimmy took me to the backyard and taught me how to pass and catch. Then he took me to the brick wall at the elementary school near my house to teach me the wall ball routine that I would do every morning for the next 7 years."

"In 2009 of my junior year, I verbally committed and was given the opportunity to play for the Duke Blue Devils under head coach Kerstin Kimel. As a member of the Duke Women’s Lacrosse Team (2010-2014), I met some of my best friends, and competed at the highest level of college lacrosse. I then created, and now run a lacrosse consulting company, MOJO LAX, where we develop some of the best players in the country, empowering our athletes to identify and determine their paths."

"As the Director of Coaching for Aritae, I am excited to work with young people to help them shape their futures, teaching them how to meet and even exceed the goals they set for themselves. My uncle gave me my first stick, but I chose to show up every morning to play wall ball. At Aritae, we will help your child discover their passions so they show up every day. Our coaches, with a wide variety of talent and experiences, understand what it feels like when we unleash our potential and succeed to reach our goals. Through the Aritae Self Leadership Academy, players will learn the skills to help them lead a life filled with love, happiness, significance, and success."
